AI FILM
THE PEASANT WOMAN AND THE MACHINES OF TOMORROW
Adding Artificial Intelligence tools to the creation and production processes of motion graphics and films.
2025 ended with a huge shift in our video and illustration production and creation processes, with the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence tools. I myself was reluctant about AI; ethical, productivity, and environmental issues caused me a certain repulsion towards these new tools.
Observing Dr. Edu Honorato’s social media, the opportunity arose to create a video for a presentation he was going to give at the Summit 2025 event in Manaus.
This video addresses this resistance, this difficulty some people are having in understanding that AI is a tool like so many others, created by humankind throughout the centuries, completely changing people’s way of life.
Dr. Edu already spoke in his classes about this “peasant,” that is, someone who wishes to remain oblivious to all these changes happening around them.
The fact is that we need to learn and understand how AI works, because it is already a reality. And even if it’s to resist, knowledge is fundamental.
AI FILM
Production
We developed a 45-second script that tells the story of someone who doesn’t want to be part of a world with AI. The images were generated in MidJourney and then unfolded into other angles using Nano Banana. With the images ready, the videos were generated in Kling and VO3. Finally, the editing was done in After Effects.
Inspiration
The inspiration was the 2005 film “Pride and Prejudice”.
Trilha
The music was created at SUNO, and the vocals at Eleven Labs.
