Mad Rats - Skate like a girl
A skateboard ride through the streets of Rio, three girls, and the entire city as their playground. “Skate Like a Girl” is a spec ad produced by Rebellion for the brand Mad Rats , a tribute to the freedom, attitude, and feminine energy within skate culture. More than just tricks, the film celebrates the female presence and style within the “Marvelous City.”

the images were generated in Midjourney and Google Nano Banana. The video footage was generated using Kling, Seedance, and VO3 and Suno for music. Effects in After Effects and Edit in Premiere Pro.
Three pairs of Mad Rats sneakers – along with the brand’s black-and-white cap – were selected to be highlighted throughout the film.

Casting
Three friends go out for a skateboarding session in Rio de Janeiro. I wanted each of them to have their own style, all wearing Mad Rats sneakers. I chose three different pairs of sneakers from the brand, and based on those, I chose each of their outfits. It’s important that each one has her own personality and unique presence.

First, I generated images with Rio de Janeiro, Ipanema as a background.
Replacing the Character
After generating an image I liked, I then replaced the character, maintaining the composition, pose, and style of the image. And making sure to apply the desired product, in this case, Mad Rats sneakers.
